The closing event of House of Campari took place last Thursday in Los Angeles in conjunction with W Magazine and the Los Angeles County Museum of Art’s Modern and Contemporary Art Council. Over 600 attendees stopped by to enjoy the art installation, as well as two ten-minute performances by burlesque performers of “Forty Deuce.” And those ladies deliver some impressive performances, but quite honestly, watching me put ON my clothes is admittedly an equally rousing sight. Campari’s La Stella Grande was the cocktail of the evening and for those of you New Yorkers looking to catch the House of Campari, you’re in luck, because it will be making a stop in NYC this September.
Notable attendees included John Hensley (Nip-Tuck), Roman Coppola, Frank Gehry, John Livesay (author of “The 7 Most Powerful Selling Secrets”), Bob Kunze-Concewitz, CEO of Campari International and Gerry Ruvo, President & CEO of SKYY Spirits, LLC. Additionally, the dancer in the pic after the jump is Dakota Ferreiro, who was the featured dancer on the Bravo television series “Forty Deuce,” which documented the opening of their Las Vegas venue and aired in 2005-06.
