There are always going to be rumors flying around as to why Camille Grammer isn’t returning to The Real Housewives Of Beverly Hills, but Grammer kept it positive at last night’s party for The Advocate’s 45th anniversary, presented by Lexus at The Beverly Hilton Hotel.
Kelsey Grammer‘s ex-wife told E! that she was “devastated” to leave her friends on the show. ”They’re my family, too,” Grammer said. ”Maybe I’ll come back and go to a party because these are my friends.” That’s part of the reason Grammer allegedly was not asked back, according to Us Weekly.
“She’s demanding and complicated to work with,” a show source told Us of Grammer. “She’s very careful about how she’s portrayed, and didn’t want to put herself out there without having a say in how she came across. She wants to move on in a positive direction in her life.” Grammer tried to plant the idea of being a “part-time housewife” in producers’ ears, but that idea didn’t fly.
Grammer reportedly received the call last Friday that she would not be joining the gals for season three. ”She got a call from producers telling her she wouldn’t be returning to the show,” another insider said. “There’s nothing interesting left about her character. She refused to feature her boyfriend [Dimitri Charalambopoulos], and she didn’t want to expose her kids [Mason and Jude] anymore.”
Fair enough, but as we all know, this does not good reality make.
Will you miss Grammer?
