Busta Rhymes Seems To Be Working Overtime, Maintaining His Street Cred

Don’t be fooled by his collaborations with Janet Jackson and Mariah Carey, for goodness’ sake. Busta Bust is still dangerous. An altercation that took place between Rhymes and another man has resulted in his arrest by the New York police. BBC News reports:

Rhymes – real name Trevor Smith – turned himself in at a Manhattan police station and was charged with assault. The un-named man, who was treated in hospital, claimed he was punched and kicked by the star numerous times in a confrontation on 26 December. A lawyer for the rap star declined to comment about the incident. Mr Smith, 34, turned himself in and was booked on a misdemeanour assault charge, police said.

…thus giving a whole new meaning to “Put Your Hands Where My Eyes Can See.”

  1. Well the story seems a little one sided to me. Im mean, what did the man do to provoke the situation? Was it in self defence? What did the so called “Victem” do to create to problem.
