Young Hollywood was celebrated by Teen Vogue last night at Paramount Studios at their 8th Annual party. What set this year’s event apart from past years was that one member attending the event brought a message with her.
Brittany Snow teamed up with MTV and the Jed Foundation, with support from DoSomething.org, the Trevor Project, Reach Out, Active Minds and the Ad Council, to help spread messages of love and hope to teens who feel they might have run out of options.
“Love Is Louder is a movement that is hopefully going to bring some awareness and make some noise when it comes to teens who are feeling suicidal or even just sad, outcasts, and being bullied, and really feel like they have nowhere to turn to,” says Brittany, referencing the death of Rutgers University student Tyler Clementi. “It’s a place where people who have been through it can support them and share their stories, [so they will know] that they’re not alone.”
