Britney Spears Works Out, Pays Bills

April 24th, 2008 // 3 Comments

It’s been a rare sight, these past few years, to see Britney genuinely smiling–and I’m not talking about that insane, forced smile with glazed eyes that we were treated to when she was taken to the hospital in an ambulance early this year.

Regular workouts at the Bally Total Fitness gym in Culver City appear to be helping Britney’s morale, which finally appears to be on an upswing. And her mother, Lynne, has said that her relationship with her sons is also on the mend. All around, Britney’s prospects are looking better than they have in a long time.

However, she’s still got those whopping legal bills. At a hearing, Britney’s coconservator Andrew Wallet, Britney’s dad Jamie and brother Bryan and their lawyers all agreed they would obtain the money to pay Britney’s legal fees from her $100 million fortune. Additionally, July 31st is the date on which it will be decided whether or not a permanent conservatorship should be established.

Meanwhile, Britney’s been going to the gym consistently and I’m starting to wonder if that brief window of time during which I actually looked like I was in better shape than her is coming to an end. Sigh.

i think its great that she is getting better. it’s nice to see a real smile on her face. i’ve done my share of being hard on her, but with all the info i have read and seen, i think she really just had some hardships that she needed to deal with. she’s an easy target, but she’s a person that deserves happiness like anyone else.

    good for her!

Well put Shannon. It’s great to see her doing so well!

Yes, it’s great she’s doing well, but as a member of the Bally’s in Culver City, this whole publicity stunt is really annoying. They shut down whole floors for her and cancel exercise classes so she can have her privacy. If she wants her privacy, she should work out at home, and not take away from paying members’ gym experience.
