The NFL has fined Brett Favre $50,000 for “failure to cooperate” with the league’s investigation into allegations he texted pictures of his genitals to Jenn Sterger. Since Favre was not forthcoming, the NFL couldn’t tell if he broke the personal conduct policy or not.
Commissioner Roger Goodell said in a statement, “Every member of every club’s staff should be able to work in an environment free of harassment or hostility, and one in which every employee is valued, respected, and given a full opportunity to contribute to the goals of the club and the NFL.”
While Favre wasn’t suspended, everyone is expecting him to retire, for the umpteenth time after his team, the Minnesota Vikings, play their final game this Sunday. But with all that free time on his hands, won’t he be blasting out sext messages day and night?
Idle hands, as they say…
