Brad Pitt’s Happy To Be Starring In A Winner

OK, well The Curious Case of Benjamin Button hasn’t won any Oscars yet, but the film is right behind Titanic and All About Eve in terms of all-time most Oscar nominations for a single movie.

With 13 nods to its credit, Benjamin Button needed only one more to have landed itself in a three-way tie with the other two films. At a press conference in Tokyo (he brought his brood along with him to Japan), Brad Pitt admitted that the critical recognition had him “thrilled.”

“It means that more people get to see it and I think it’s a worth film that deserves that kind of viewing–over and over again,” Brad told the media. Hey, pipe down with your marketing. In case you hadn’t hear, there’s a recession going on. We can’t afford to be going to the movies three times a day! The correct answer was, “It’s an honor just to be nominated.”
