February 20th, 2006 // 21 Comments

The divorce settlement has been finalized between Brad Pitt and Jennifer Aniston. Brad Pitt receives their film production company and an instant family, and Jennifer Aniston receives the couples Beverly Hills mansion and many many weekends spent in Vegas.

Former celebrity couple Brad Pitt and Jennifer Aniston have concluded their $60 million divorce settlement.

The former Friends star will assume sole ownership off their $29 million Beverly Hills mansion, while the Fight Club actor will take control of their lucrative film company Plan B Productions.

Aniston will retain a “minor stake” in the production firm, which is believed to be worth more than $50 million after a string of 12 successful independent movie releases, including Tim Burton’s Charlie And The Chocolate Factory.

The high-profile pair agreed the share-out through their lawyers just days before Aniston’s 37th birthday yesterday.

Maniston got screwed!! Brad gets Angie and a baby.

  2. spitty

I didn’t realize their production company was so successful. 12 successful independent projects is a great run. Brad and Jen are business savvy.

    I just saw Mr&Mrs Smith.

  3. Sith Lord

They both can’t act worth a s**** Please just go away already. Mr amd Mrs Smith was only interesting because of Vince Vaugn making jokes. Don’t get me started on Derailed…

  4. spitty

Please get started on Derailed. Brad had a meteoric rise in film and in a hurry w/o making a ton of films. He branded himself well. I don’t think he’s a great actor but he makes good selections. Well in Snatch that may have been his best work to date and Thelma and Louise.

I only started watching friends since it has been in syndication. Jen is a phenomenon in her own right. VV has managed to carve out a career for himself somehow.

Did anyone see Nick Lachey’s “severence pay” ahem, Nick’s divorce proposal?

Brad’s an decent actor, he chooses good movies but I still haven’t seen him in THE challenging role of his career.

Jen’s alright, it’s just that she mostly choose forgetable movies and has a tendency to play the same character with slight variation, you know that, “I’m a 90s 30-something bitch, facing the new generation” bollocks.

  6. I liked "Seven".....

I did like Brad in “Seven”, and I kind of liked “The Legend of the Falls.”

  7. spitty

True he was good in 7. I know people loved him in Fight Club nand pretty much is his cult classic. Meaning he drew a lot of guy fans with that one.

  8. vaiata

i think brad is a great actor. legends of the fall, fight club, 12 monkeys, a river runs through it, true romance and snatch were challenging and he pulled it off extremely well in all of them. he doesn’t get enough credit because he’s a cutie but he well deserves it.

    peace.

  9. DONE!!!! let’s move on now!!!!

  10. Audacte

The difference is that Brad is always Brad. Versus someone like Johnny Depp or George Clooney or Robert Deniro… who change with each role. Sorry, I know Brad can be nice on the eyes, but he is no actor; in the true sense of the word. Although, maybe he acted a bit during the end of his marriage to Jen. ;-)

  11. hardlyworking

Little off subject…but has anyone ever noticed how no one is ever holding Maddox’s hand. They walk around large crowds and way too crowded parks and the little man roams at his leisure.

  12. bamz9LOVE

hardlyworking said: do you see that whitehaired gentleman with Angelina & Maddox? Well he’s not the only one watching every move ANYBODY makes towards their employers and their family.

The man in the pic has been with AJ since she adopted Maddox, and I think I read that there are alway’s at least 2 unseen security “crowd blender’s” with them as well. Bottomline, Maddox is safe.

  13. bamz9LOVE

I think it’s Brad who was/is the savoy one where the project’s picked were/are concerned; he & the other Brad (who’s now running Paramount….which is coincidently Plan B has moved to.

I think the reason why Jennifer relinquised all control but a itty bitty slice is because she really hasn’t been a big decision maker as assumed. I imagine she had input, but by most accounts, it was nominal. Anyway, BP has said he see’s himself moving out from in front of the camera, and more to the background. I see his focus more on turning Plan B into an even bigger success.

Already Martin Scorsese has a project being produced by Plan B (“The Departed”). There’s a Peter Weir directed film called “Shantaram” which is going to star Johnny Depp. “Running With Scissers” with Jack Nicolas & Gwinneth Paltrow, and a Meryl Streep & Jennifer Anniston which I can’t recall the name, and about 5 more in the works for 06/07. sorry for the length.

  14. Small Fry

Don’t get me wrong, I love Brad Pitt. I’d do him anyday, anytime. But don’t forget about Meet Joe Black, possibly the WORST acting I have ever seen, from anyone. And then to put him next to someone as accomplished and talented as Antony (as Gwynnie would say) Hopkins? What were they thinking?!?!?

  15. bamz9LOVE

Small Fry, honest, I have only ever seen Se7en (tv version at that lol), Thelma & Louise (which he’s only in maybe a total of 15-20min), I “think” I’ve seen A River Runs yada, and that other one similar, Mr & Mrs Smith (just saw that for the first time maybe 6wks ago) and bit’s and pieces of 12 monkey’s.

Oh! some old Lifetime movie with he and Juliette Lewis(?), and he was pretty good in that one I thought, but other than those bit’s and pieces, I can’t say I’m much of a fan of his acting. People keep saying I need to see Snatch, Fight Club and one other I can’t remember right now. They say I’ll see his chops in those.

I’ve just always liked him. I always thought he was really a good guy (I’ve known 2 or 3 people in the same biz who’ve worked with him and say he really is genuinely nice, down to earth guy who also happens to be rich & famous lol).

I think he’s a creative man….his photo concepts like the W mag with AJ really are interesting imo) and last, I like how he had a plan to be where he is in this business, and he went beyond it. He’s a good business man, and Planet B is proof.

  16. So True

I hear you Small Fry about “Meet Joe Black.” I was turning station on the tube the other day, and it landed smack in front of my eyes.Brad was awful!!! The co-star was doing a dramatic scene, and Brad was smiling like he’s cute. So bad, I couldn’t watch any more.

  17. So True

Also, Sir Antony Hopkins recently was asked how Brad Pitt was as an actor. All he said was, “He’s so cool.”

He praised Gwyneth Paltrow as as actor, though. Ouch!

  18. so happy brad is over fucking ugly jenniferaniston…where are the jen’s stupid fans…why aren’t they posting their comments here

  19. Jeanne

    …maybe,you talk too much.

  20. CHINNIFER IS TOO UGLY FOR BRAD

I DON’T CARE IF BRAD HAS BEEN SO SO IN SOME MOVIES – THE MAN IS BEYOND FINE. I CAN’T THINK OF A FINER MAN. COME ON, IF HE WALKED INTO YOUR OFFICE TOMORROW, WHAT WOMAN THERE WOULD NOT WANT TO SLEEP WITH HIM? HE IS BEAUTIFUL. BESIDES, I THINK BRAD IS A TERRIFIC ACTOR AND HAS BEEN GOOD IN ALL OF HIS MOVIES.

  21. Get Right Girl!

Chinnifer, I can’t believe it, your here too! Go back to the other site and see what I said. Girl you must be deeply in love with Brad or something. I thought you were just hating Jennifer, like you just hated her, but your crazy about Brad.

Brad is fine, but beyond fine? I love him too, but not like that!
