Last night (November 26th), The Cinema Society With Men’s Health And DeLeon hosted a screening of Killing Them Softly in New York City. Brad Pitt flew back for the event from England, where he’s still filming scenes for World War Z.
It appears that the house of Jolie-Pitt is eager for mom and dad, who got engaged back in April, to tie the knot.
“I am getting more pressure from my kids, and it is something I want to do within their lifetime,” Pitt said at the screening. ”But I also feel like the time has come.
“The time is nigh,” Pitt added, according to People Magazine. “It’s soon. I got a good feeling about it.
“We’ve had a family, we’ve raised the kids,” he said. “I am surprised how much [marriage] meant to me once you had that.”
Pitt is also a bit of a hero in the Dorset, England village of Lulworth. The Daily Mail reports that Pitt crashed a charity event, but made up for it with a $1000 donation. He and the crew were in town to shoot scenes for Z, distracting everyone from the day that Karley Gallagher has organized for the hospital that treated her son, Zachary for gastroschisis.
I” was grinning from ear to ear,” Gallagher said.
‘What he did for us was just incredible. It was a very generous and a sympathetic gesture from him.”
Tricia Wilson-Hughes, who helped organize the event, was also impressed by the actor.
“We thought the charity day would be a bit of an anti-climax because everybody was going to the cove to see if they could spot Brad Pitt,” she said.
“I asked the security guards if Brad would be kind enough to make a small donation. They then came back with a brown envelope with £700 from Brad in it and £40 from the crew. We couldn’t believe it, we were completely in awe.”
