Hub TV Network is embracing the nostalgia craze with a television line-up that hosts reruns of much beloved ‘80s and ‘90s series. Blossom – the early ‘90s sitcom about an adolescent girl coming to age in a house run by her single father and two older brothers – becomes the newest addition to the Hub TV Network’s growing line-up.
All 5 seasons, 113 episodes, of the series, which stars a young Mayim Bialik and Joey Lawrence, join the network’s already eclectic collection. The July 7 premiere will mark a much awaited return to television for the Russo family and best freind, Six.
It appears the Hub TV Network is in line to become a kind of ‘Nick at Nite’ for children of the ‘80s and ‘90s.
In much the same way that Nickelodeon’s Nick at Nite block offered a nightly line-up of classic television shows for parents to enjoy, Hub TV Network - a joint venture of Discovery Communications and Hasbro – compliments it’s late morning and afternoon line-up of Hasbro themed animation for children, with a nightly and early morning line-up of late 20th century sitcoms, animated shows, and movies that currently include Sister, Sister, Animaniacs, and Step by Step.
