Blake Lively Feels Like She Sprang from America’s Loins

Blake Lively is crediting her “Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants” co-star, America Ferrera, with aiding her in the transition to New York City to begin work on her series, “Gossip Girl.” According to Blake:

“She’s a mother to me,” the 20-year-old told OK! at the Viva La Cure event held at NYCs Sea Grill Restaurant on October 17. “When I decided I was going to move to New York for the show, she sat down with me. I knew I wanted to live on the West Side, and she said, ‘No, you need to live on the East Side because of this, this and this.’ She makes lists of pros and cons about why I shouldn’t get another dog. She’s like ‘This is why you shouldn’t get one.’ America’s always very nurturing with me, which I appreciate very much. She’s awesome!”

Meanwhile, I’m sure that America’s very much flattered that Blake is so thankful for her maternal attributes, you know America’s got to be thinking–at least somewhat–”Seriously, you couldn’t just say big sister? Why do I have to be the mom? Or at least make it out like we’re the Judds. Yeah, like why couldn’t I be her MILTF? Sigh.” Or maybe not.
