Los Angeles Clippers Blake Griffin might have had the dunk of the year over Kendrick Perkins on Monday night.
Griffin, known for his dunking prowess, dunked right over the 6-foot-10 Oklahoma City Thunder center. The dunk is one that will likely be replayed for years to come — it reminded many of Griffin’s dunk over then-Knicks center Timofey Mozgov — as few have seen such raw power in a one-handed dunk.
The dunk even left Griffin’s teammates in shock. Point guard Chris Paul said it was “one of the most amazing things I’ve ever seen,” while center DeAndre Jordan told reporters he didn’t know what to do so he just gave Griffin a big bear hug.
“It was really, literally unbelievable,” Clippers guard Chauncey Billups told reporters after the game. “Seriously, when I’d seen it, I think me and James Harden at the same time were just, like, ‘Oh my goodness. Wow.’ That was crazy.”
