Aaaand that’s what we call being facetious. The Pussycat Doll won.
Nicole Scherzinger was a controversial contestant from the start because of her dance background and job as a professional entertainer and performer. She certainly brought it earning 115 out of 120 for her dances on Monday and Tuesday. Fair or not, she won and walked away with a big prize: people can actually pronounce her last name now.
Evan Lysacek was also somewhat controversial because there was dance involved in his skater training. He nabbed second place and gave a graceful “We’re so proud of Nicole and Derek!” I don’t think that he’ll see visions of lost plastic disco ball trophies while he’s staring at his gold medal.
Erin Andrews was of course third place, but she was more interested what she gained from the experience. “I have gone through hell the past year,” she said (i.e. stalker, death threats) and added that her partner, Maksim Chmerkovskiy “brought me back to life. He just did!” Perhaps she got her prize after all.
Plus, we had the frightening return of Kate Gosselin who performed her famed version of “Paparazzi” once again. Shudder.
