Bethenny Frankel realizes she’s a little too skinny while building her empire, which includes a hit reality show and Skinnygirl Cocktails (which she sold for a reported $120 million). According to the New York Post, Frankel told Life & Style that she’s whittled herself down a bit too much.
The reality star insists she didn’t do it on purpose, despite admitting that she’s suffered from eating issues in the past. “Because I’m so busy, I’m not always hungry. I have to make myself eat more because of my busy schedule,” Frankel explained.
Frankel has to be more mindful of what she puts in her mouth and says she chooses more sensible meals these days rather than eating heavily at night (which is news to us, given how thin Frankel’s always looked). “I have to eat more because I burn off a lot of calories,” she said of her new lifestyle, which allows Frankel to eat dessert: “If I had eaten a brownie five years ago , I probably would have had to have 12 brownies. Now, if I want a brownie, I’ll have a little bit of a brownie.”
Girls put a lot of pressure on themselves to be skinny,” Frankel, who shot scenes for an upcoming season of Bethenny Ever After in Manhattan August 10th, continued. They don’t understand that it’s not about a quick fix — but a healthy lifestyle.”
