Feeling a little blue there, eh, Ben McKenzie?

No, I’m not implying that he’s depressed. The handsome actor paired a blue denim shirt with even darker blue jeans for his shopping trip to Jimmy Choo.

Perhaps he’s celebrating his role as Jim Gordon in the new FOX drama, Gotham.

We finally know just a little bit more about the television show, which will probably be airing in Fall 2014. At the moment, the network hasn’t announced an air date. Let’s hope it’s sometime in early September because I am so ready for this show.

According to FOX’s website, it’s Gordon’s friendship with young Bruce Wayne “that will last them all of their lives, playing a crucial role in helping the young boy eventually become the crusader he’s destined to be.” Their dynamic and seeing how their story started should be interesting.

McKenzie appears to be jumping right into character effortlessly while on set. Well, it’s not exactly effortless. Let’s hope he doesn’t overexert himself with all of that running he does on set.

Luckily, Southland gave him the opportunity to be in an action-filled show. By now, all of the running is probably second nature.
