After watching England’s sad loss during the World Cup, David Beckham sent Andy Murray a text message congratulating him on Monday’s win against Sam Querrey.
Murray had said last week that Beckham was the most famous person he ever met, so it probably was pretty amazing that he sent him a text. Murray showed his appreciation for Becks message as well as all the others on his Twitter, where he said, “Thanks for all the good luck and well done messages today. Always nice to get one from David Beckham but trying to read them all!”
Murray will today face Jo-Wilfried Tsonga, the French 10th seed.
If you know nothing about tennis like myself, you may go about your day now. But check out the gallery of photos of Murray and Beckham, cause that’s what you care about anyway!
