I can’t. I simply cannot handle these photos of David and Harper Beckham at a Notting Hill restaurant in London, England. Dad and daughter joined mom Victoria Beckham for a meal, one day before the 2012 Olympics begin.
Beckham also stopped by 10 Downing Street today to discuss world hunger issues with Prime Minster David Cameron, who agreed to host a summit on August 12th – the last day of the 2012 Olympics – to try and end world hunger, according to the Telegraph. World leaders will gather together as Beckham works on behalf of Unicef to “voice” opinions “while the eyes of the world are on our country.”
“Being a father, I know how important those first few days of children’s lives are,” Beckham said. ”It’s so important to get them the right nutrients and to help their growth.”
Beckham will take part in tomorrow night’s Opening Ceremonies, but he is not at liberty to discuss his role. Becks did, however, tell Nightline that he was “surprised” with what he was asked to do.
“I didn’t expect it, and I’m really honored,” Beckham said “I grew up on the side of London where the Olympics is happening. It’s a proud moment for us, you know, East End boys.”
