Backstreet Boys Get Their Star On The Hollywood Walk Of Fame, New Album Sneak Peek [PHOTOS]

90's boy bands!
A look back at our favourite boy bands.
Backstreet’s back alright!

That and they finally received their star! The Backstreet Boys celebrated their 20-year anniversary with a Star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame!  AJ McLean, Brian Littrell, Howie Dorough, Kevin Richardson and Nick Carter received the 2,495th Star yesterday on Hollywood Boulevard.

The guys celebrated their anniversary Saturday night by performing in front of hundred of adoring fans. The band played previews of eight songs that will be on their new album. The new still untitled album is due late this year and AJ does not seem worried about integrating back into the music scene.

He told Entertainment Weekly:

Some people might just want that one song [when you release it], but the upside is that, for us, you still have loyal, loyal die-hard fans that want that tangible CD, that will buy the full CD. They want the pictures and they want to know who wrote on the songs. They want the package.

Brian added:

Hopefully we still have the fans out there who do that and have that personal connection [with us] and remember when they were 10, 13, or 18 and listen to the album from start to finish. I hope that happens with the new record.

Definitely excited for their comeback! Did someone say nostalgia? Make sure to launch the gallery to check out photos of BSB receiving their star!
