Back To Black At 2008 Red Carpet Emmy Awards

Even when a woman is at a loss for what to wear, there is something that never disappoints and that is a perfectly-tailored little black dress. It’s the female equivalent of the tuxedo. Here are some ladies who I think really rocked it.

Kate Walsh of Private Practice put a twist on the whole concept of the little black dress with her multi-tiered dress that managed to sparkle and also show off her curves. Also, her hair and make-up brought the drama. Loves it.

Her former Grey’s Anatomy co-star Chandra Wilson kept it simple with a flattering black halter dress that flows all the way down to her toes and hugged her in all the right places. But honestly, I think her hair is my favorite aspect. Those soft curls look so simple yet fun.

Kristin Chenoweth from Pushing Daisies pushed her up ladies in a strapless Armani gown with a black bow in front that truly made her look like a tiny, sexy present.
