Avoid The Pool At The Roosevelt Hotel

October 22nd, 2008 // 12 Comments

This is some heebie-jeebie bullshit. Page Six reports that some dude croaked in the pool at the Roosevelt Hotel in Los Angeles, which is like a celebrity playground, on Monday, Oct. 13. Ok, shit happens. You fish his ass out, call a coroner, drain the pool, re-fill it and move on. Except bitches didn’t drain the pool. And a whole mess of celebs used it over the weekend. Serves them right for being popular and rich!

Lindsay Lohan, Samantha Ronson, Roosevelt fan Eve, Kevin Connolly and Stacy Keibler were all apparently dunking and diving (the muff way in Linds and Sam’s case) this past weekend and Justin Long, Sarah Chalke, Seth Rogen and Elizabeth Banks all used the pool area on Monday night for an Effen Vodka party. No
word on whether those last four went swimming. They should have poured
the voddy in the pool. Alcohol can kill anything. It’s how I beat
colds. Drink through em’.

Jordan Nagler, 30, kicked it in the pool on Oct. 13. Roosevelt Hotel officials held a staff meeting afterwards where they announced that they wouldn’t drain the pool because “there was enough chlorine in it to kill the bacteria.” They also asked staff not to not to “say anything to anyone” because, “We don’t want this to get out.”

Which of the celebs do you think is going to file the first germophobe lawsuit? My money’s on Rogen. He seems like he’s neurotic as hell.

no you don’t drain the pool if someone drowns or has a heart attack. you drain it if someone blows his head off over the pool, or falls in a woodchipper within 30ft of it.

No need to drain the pool unless some bodily fluids leaked into the pool and in most cases a standard chlorine treatment will kill anything but the worst stuff. Have someone leak in the pool is far worse than dying in the pool.

Let it ride! Don’t cause waves the damn Celebs have to much going on already, they don’t need to worry about a “dead man” swimming/floating…

When people die, they void their bowels. I would’ve had the pool drained, but that’s just me.

Celebrities, suck it up. Jordan Nagler was a close friend of mine and I personally couldn’t care less if your evian bathed million dollar bodies touched the water that he died in. Have a little decency and respect for this wonderful man who died much too early, and for his family. What they need now is prayers, not speculations from bloggers and the likes of Lindsay Lohan who obviously have no heart. I would appreciate a little dignity.

Wow “Socialite”…Why don’t you just come out & say the pool has COOTIES…and all the popular kids went
swimming in it?! I’m pretty sure his body decay started waay after he was pulled from the water.I am however getting a kick outta’ you trying to nuke the “scene” @ HRH.It’ll be interesting to see if this post does just that.;-> Did the promoter not pay the “hush fee”?

    pequenadiosa,
    My condolences on your loss..

Pour me a cold, stiff one.

I too knew Jordan personally. The dude had more love and energy in his pinky than any celebrity. Maybe if Lindsay is lucky this may cause her to finally get some success. She needs it.

I too knew Jordan…..maybe some of his goodness and kindness will rub off on some of the people that swam in that pool. Funny how so many people have so much to say about a guy none of them knew…….

This is not “some dude”. He is a person that many people cared about. What insensitive, shallow low-lifes you people are to turn this into gossip.
