Australians In Film Sizzle On The Red Carpet

May 14th, 2010 // 2 Comments

All I can say is thank you, Australia. The country down under has supplied Hollywood with a bevy of hunky leading men and dazzling leading ladies (and yes, they can act too) and Tinsel Town has taken notice. The Australians In Film’s 2010 Breakthrough Awards were held at Thompson Beverly Hills on May 13, 2010 in Beverly Hills. Australians in Film was created in 2001 to aid strong ties between Australian screen culture and those who create it.

In attendance were hotties among the likes of Chris Hemsworth, Liam Hemsworth, Collin Farrell, Ryan Kwanten, Michael Johns, Clifton Collins Jr, Jamie Drurie and Alex O`Loughlin. A number of these guys have had huge hits this year worth celebrating, with Kwanten’s breakthrough on True Blood, O’Loughlin in The Back-Up Plan and Liam’s star turn as…uh, Miley Cyrusboyfriend.

Representing the ladies were Nora Zehetner, Delta Goodrem, Stephanie Jacobsen, Bella Heathcote and Rutina Wesley. They should get this good-looking crew together more often!

Just a minor correction. Not only did you spell Colin Farrell’s name wrong, but he’s Irish – not Austrailian.
