Diane Kruger and Joshua Jackson have been dating for about six years and last night it was reported that the Fringe star bid $45,000 on a Carla Amorim necklace for his Prabal Gurung-clad girl. According to People, the “Boreal” piece is comprised of 11.7 carats of white diamonds setin in 18K gold.
Jackson was overheard telling someone at the the ‘Nights In Monaco’ Gala Fundraiser – held last night at the Casino in Monte Carlo, Monaco, equally benefiting The Prince Albert II of Monaco Foundation and the William J. Clinton Foundation – that the necklace was an “engagement” gift for his beloved. However, sources close to the couple say that talks of an engagement are false.
Kruger and Jackson made the 45-minute drive to Monte Carlo for the gala, which aided both foundations’ work on global issues including health and the environment. Princess Charlene was not in attendance, as this was meant to a “gentlemen’s evening” which she didn’t want to take away from.
