Despite her family being so controversial in the media and a bit of a train wreck, I genuinely loved Honey Boo Boo. She appeared to be this spunky, unique, fun-loving child. Here Comes Honey Boo Boo was undoubtedly one of my guilty pleasures. Whenever I missed a television episode, I’d hurry up and log on Youtube because I knew that was the place it would be immediately after.
Lately, and by that I mean ever since she visited Los Angeles, I’ve noticed her behavior is becoming a lot less cute and a whole lot more sassy, or maybe even downright rude. Evidently, she wasn’t raised to know to respect her elders. Now I’m not bashing her mother’s parenting skills in any way, shape, or form, but her behavior is deplorable.
I understand she’s seven, so she won’t act like a little lady in social situations, but there is a line you don’t cross and she continually crosses it. During her interviews, I find myself feeling slightly embarrassed and she’s not even related to me. Many people seem upset that she’s a representation of the United States. They don’t want viewers from other countries to think we’re all like that because we’re definitely not.
Her Extra interview was full of yelling, booing, and jumping around. How difficult is it to sit on a chair and act civil? That was awful, but not nearly as bad as when she recently saw Dr. Drew. Her last appearance with him wasn’t so bad, but this time around was a whole different ballgame.
Instead of just sitting there and answering his questions, Alana decided it would be a good idea to pretend to fall asleep? Um, excuse me, who does that in public and worse, on television? Apparently she hates her fame because fans are always coming up to her. That kind of comes with the territory.
After seeing this interview, I’m beginning to hope her long fifteen minutes of fame ends sooner rather than later unless she cleans up her act. Seeing the blatant disrespect towards so many people is unacceptable.
Check out the video above and then let us know what you think about her behavior! Should she be allowed to act like that, or is it as awful as it seems?
