Having never been in a movie (that I know about) I never knew that cinematic kissing is different from regular smooching.
Anne Hathaway explains in this months British GQ, “It’s a totally different experience. But really you have to be Angelina Jolie to pull that off and still look good. I don’t know if you’ve noticed, but I ain’t no Angie.” Case in point, this cover looks slightly awkward compared to this.
But just as she holds her own in the rest of the shoot, I’m sure the self deprecating Valentine’s Day star is better than she claims. Apparently she demonstrated on her hand to as she walked the interviewer through the process. That hand is on a dirty streak.
It sounds like it’s not so much about technique as it is her attachment to her man, Adam Shulman. “If you’re both unattached and you get along, of course kissing in a movie is fun,” she says. Buuuuut not as fun as this.
