Anne Hathaway Rocks Sheer Black Dress For Valentino Show [PHOTOS]

Actress Anne Hathaway stepped out of her style comfort zone wearing a sheer black dress to the Valentino show during Paris Fashion Week 2011.

Although she looked happy in her ensemble, the netted gown, worn over a black bodysuit, black tights, and black heels, is a big change from the classy, yet more simple look Hathaway usually goes for.

Nevertheless, the actress is definitely no stranger to fashion. In August’s issue of Harper’s Bazaar, Hathaway told the magazine about her love of clothes. The magazine reports:

“Talking about fashion, Anne says she “feels like the luckiest girl in the world when I get to wear all these glamorous clothes,” but away from the red carpet, she is decidedly more moderate, insisting on wearing pieces that she owns… “I’ve become a lot more specific about what I love and why I’m doing it,” she says.”

Next month, the actress’s newest film, One Day, starring Jim Sturgess, will hit theaters. Keeping with the dark theme, Hathaway is currently working on the next Batman movie, The Dark Knight Rises, in which she plays Catwoman.

I am just curious. When did pantyhose become tights? Why cant we(women) say we are wearing pantyhose? Saying you are wearing tights because you dont want to say its pantyhose doesn’t mean youre not wearing pantyhose.

Maybe I’m one of the few that isnt afraid to call my pantyhose pantyhose. My boss(older and with a GREAT pair of legs) wears pantyhose now and then, but still calls them tights.
