Last night, Anne Hathaway and Adam Shuhman made their first outing since getting engaged earlier this week at the Kennedy Center Honoree’s Artist’s Dinner at the U.S. State Department in Washington D.C.. Exciting!
The Dark Knight Rises star looked smokin’ in a floor length Giambattista Valli black dress with an origami fold detailing at the bust, Fred Leighton’s antique diamond star choker, and a 1920′s diamond dangle bracelet. She finished the look off with platform satin stilettos and a a leather clutch. Her affianced beau looked equally debonair in a black tux and a black skinny tie. Classy!
The lovebirds were in attendance to support Hathaway’s Devil Wears Prada co-star, Meryl Streep, who was awarded the Kennedy Center Honor, which honors performing artists who have made a lifetime of contributions to American culture. Joining Streep in this honor were singer Neil Diamond, actress Barbara Cook, musician Yo-Yo Ma, and musician Sonny Rollins.
Congrats to both the happy couple and the honorees!
