While Victoria Beckham tried to keep her head up by leaning on Vogue editor-at-large Hamish Bowles, Anna Wintour called the shots at Grand Central Shuttle Station under the famed East Side Station today (February 15th) in New York. Beckham, according to Red Carpet Fashion Awards, wore a black military dress from her Fall 2012 collection. The poor thing looked a little green in the face. Time to be swept away on holiday!
The three Brits were on hand to launch Britain’s GREAT Campaign, an initiative to promote the United Kingdom abroad ahead of the Queen’s Diamond Jubilee (June 2-5) and the Summer Olympics (July 27-August 12), according to the BBC.
“This campaign is simple. There are so many great things about Britain and we want to send out the message loud and proud that this is a great place to do business, to invest, to study and to visit,” Prime Minister David Cameron said in New York. The campaign focuses on key components associated with the UK: Heritage, sports, shopping, music, entrepreneurship, innovation and countryside.
Don’t have to ask me twice to head over. Hail Britannia!
