Angelina Jolie Talks About Kids, Brad & Her Darkness

Angelina Jolie is on the cover of the August edition of Vanity Fair, where she talks about not wanting too big of a family so that she and Brad Pitt can’t raise each of them properly. Here’s the thing: too fucking late! I mean, I feel like they are going to have an insane home no matter what at this point. And once all those kids are teens…shew.

Other highlights from the interview:

On why she and Brad haven’t married yet, she said, “It’s just like we already are. Children are clearly a commitment, a bigger commitment [than marriage]. It’s for life.”

My other favorite quotable is this gem about her talking about her ‘darkness:’ “I used to get dressed up in costumes and jump around. But at some point, I got closed off, darker. I don’t remember anything happening. I think you just get hit with the realities of certain things in life, think too much, start to realize the world isn’t as you wished it would be, so you deepen.”

And make out with your gay brother? Or carry a boyfriend’s blood around in a vial around your neck? Mmmkay. Keep adopting your babies if that’s what floats your boat. I mean, she’s a wonderful humanitarian, but I just still think she’s bat-shit crazy.
