Anderson Cooper Goes On With His Bad Self

January 22nd, 2007 // 1 Comment

In case Anderson Cooper harbored any doubts as to the level of commitment CNN was investing into their partnership, the news channel recently presented to Cooper the business equivalent of switching its MySpace profile to “in a relationship” and using an image of the two of them kissing in a photo booth as its main profile pic. Reuters reports:

CNN anchor Anderson Cooper has reportedly signed a new contract with the network, guaranteeing him at least $4 million per year. The new deal with Cooper, host of CNN’s “Anderson Cooper 360,” would more than double his previous salary and allow him to continue in his side role as a contributor to the CBS newsmagazine “60 Minutes.”

I really need to learn from Anderson Cooper, who clearly knows how to negotiate. Unfortunately, “A Socialite’s Life,” offered me a free subscription to three of my favorite tabloids, and I was already liberally handing out BJ’s before the offer had even hit the table.
