Anderson Cooper, 43, is one of the most well-respected journalists out today. And by out, I mean in the media. Not openly gay. He’s very secretly gay. Anyway…Cooper, after just doing a hilarious little bit on Saturday Night Live this past weekend, is now set to debut on Broadway in a play that also stars Daniel Radcliffe!
Cooper, seen above with Kathy Griffin at their now annual New Year’s Eve broadcast, is going to be the narrator in the upcoming production of How To Succeed in Business Without Really Trying. But he’s not the first newsman to fill the role.
The late-great Walter Cronkite played the part in the 1995 revival of the musical, then starring Matthew Broderick. The previews of the show, also featuring John Larroquette, begin on Saturday, Feb. 26 and opening night is set for March 27.
