While in London for the premiere of Red Riding Hood, Amanda Seyfried felt comfortable enough around reporters to divulge her latest purchase. According to E!, Seyfried likes taxidermy (mounting or reproducing dead animals for display). “It’s like art,” she told the Daily Express. “”A lot of people think it’s weird but I don’t know why.”
Seyfried told the UK Press Association that she just purchased a taxidermied horse named Antoine. “I bought a three-week-old just this week. Well, it was three weeks old when it died. [It's a] miniature horse,” Seyfried, spotted at a West Hollywood cafe on Tuesday, shared. Antoine’s being shipped to her Los Angeles home and will hopefully make nice with Seyfried’s dog, Finn.
“It’s very well done,” Seyfried assured anyone who would listen. “It’s the best taxidermy in the world.” We’ll take her word for it.
