Amanda Bynes says she has been wrongly accused of parading around naked in public.
Bynes tells Us Weekly that she’s suing In Touch Weekly for a story that claimed the actress, 26, surprised customers as she was seen walking around a New York City tanning salon recently wearing nothing. She seemed to have forgotten to put on a robe as she searched for a pair of goggles.
Beach Bum Tanning CEO James Oliver also told Us Weekly that the story is untrue and that there is security footage to prove it. “Employee testimony and security footage have confirmed that Ms. Bynes was not acting inappropriately,” he stated. “She is a long-time client and we stand by her account.”
“I’m suing In Touch for printing a fake story,” Byrnes told Us on Thursday. “I’m not ‘troubled.’ I don’t get naked in public.”
Bynes added some other pertinent details to her story.
She said, “I’m 26, a multi-millionaire, retired. Please respect my privacy.”
Huh? I’m not understanding why the multi-millionaire bit of info matters Amanda? Maybe she just wants to make herself seem more important than she actually is.
