Alicia Silverstone will be the cover story for next month’s issue of Shape magazine. She talks about how becoming a Vegan has changed her life. Where does one begin when they are trying to figure out what to eat on this Vegan diet? The “Clueless” star tells Shape magazine that at first she was eating just a bunch of carbs like breads, pastas, and fruit smoothies. She would get bursts of energy and then crash. By adding in whole grains, vegetable proteins and whole lot of vegetables to her diet, she began to feel great all day long!
She said that everything has improved for her including her energy level, and there have been dramatic differences in her hair, skin, and nails. The 30 year-old has also incorporated exercise into her daily life. Taking her four dogs for long walks, jumping on her trampoline in the backyard and spending hours digging in the garden are the core of her workout routine. Apparently, jumping on the trampoline increases circulation and you get great ab muscles from doing it. Maybe I should try that workout routine sounds more like fun rather than work; thus, the term a workout! Seriously I spend a good hour and a half 6 days a week busting my ass on the treadmill, bike, or elliptical machine, and doing about 150 crunches to have flat abs -it is hard work. She is probably all of 125 pounds – she has to do more than that! Oh well- good for her I commend anyone that takes on a healthier lifestyle it shows dedication! It sure beats sitting on your butt all day eating a pint of Ben and Jerry’s while watching Days of Our Lives! The effects of this scenario will lead to shopping trips at the local Dress Barn and stretch marks!
