Alec Baldwin Drops His Pants To Play Down Photog Scuff [PHOTOS & VIDEO]

Don’t try to distract us with your uber-hairy legs, Alec Baldwin.  We want to talk abou that scuffle you got into with the Daily News photographer on Tuesday.

Baldwin appeared on The Late Show With David Letterman last night, and the late night host brought up the elephant in the room.  “You’re obviously burning to hold up the cover of the Daily News,” Baldwin said.

“The picture, without knowing the story, tells a tale that’s not often true,” Letterman explained of the front-page photo, which showed Baldwin shoving a paparazzo outside the Marriage License Bureau.  “The guy lunged and almost hit me in the teeth with the lens of the camera,” Baldwin said.  “So I just pushed the guy away.”

Baldwin, who stars in Woody Allen’s To Rome With Love, maintains that the photographer provoked his aggressive reaction.  “It’s sad w the tabloid press,” Baldwin tweeted.  “They attempt 2 provoke an incident + when it doesn’t pan out, they say u did it anyway… #no1punchedany1.”
