#MissionSmile has one simple goal — to make the national smile.
#missionsmile announced that it has helped to set the Guinness World Records title for the most selfies taken in an hour, as part of the launch of a movement to encourage random acts of kindness across the country. The record is now set at 355 selfies in an hour.
That is exactly what when #MissionSmile worked with YouTube celebrity and vlogger Mark E. Miller and his partner Ethan Hethcote, to secure the GWR in South Beach, Miami by recording selfies with beach goers, visitors and residents using his smartphone. All 355 participants will be listed in the official Guinness World Records.
The couple posted this pic and caption with their record plaque, “We did it!!! Most selfies taken in an hour. We couldn’t have asked for a better time supporting a better cause. Sponsored by #MissionSmile. Check out missionsmile.com to see the selfies and take a pledge of your own!”
“The act of taking a selfie is showing how happy you are,” a topless Hethcote firmly told Cultist in front of Ocean Drive’s kingdom of drag queens, The Palace. “It’s showing that happiness and spreading it.”
Such a great message! Watch video below of their journey and experience, then launch the gallery to see some of the selfies the couple took. Make sure to visit the #MissionSmile website.
