Adam Lambert Is Surprised By ABC

December 10th, 2009 // 5 Comments

Someone’s looking easy, breezy, and beautiful!  Chip off some of that slap, man, or the boys will think you’re a hussy.

Back at the ranch, Adam Lambert had a chatty-poo with the broads at The View.  This was only a day after sitting down with Barbara Walters for her “10 Most Fascinating People of 2009″ special and a hot minute after Good Morning America gave him the cold shoulder.  What a complicated relationship they have!

Well, it looks like ABC is letting Adam out of the doghouse on a trail basis, because his interview and performance were pre-taped (The View is usually live).

As MTV reports, Adam’s heart wasn’t too broken, though.  “I’m surprised,” he said. “I’m like, ‘Really? Is it really that big of a deal?’ ”

Once bitten, twice shy, Ad-Lam.  Speaking of which, it looks like Adam learned a little something about live TV.  “I think now I’m a little more conscious of it,” he said. “I wasn’t up there on stage like, ‘Oh, this is going to get them.’ I’ll probably stay more consistent in rehearsal to performance.”

Adam then went on to gripe a bit about his tarnished image, but frankly, in these halcyon days of getting famous for practically nothing, a little extra press, good or bad, can only help an entertainer.  Especially when that entertainer can stop being known as ‘that American Idol guy’ and start being known as ‘that guy who got head at the AMA’s.’  Assuming that title hasn’t already been taken by Lady Gaga.  Zing!

Here’s Adam looking like a goth Ken-doll with a MAC addiction at the Anti-Defamation Leagues Dinner Honoring Steven Spielberg in LA on Wednesday night.  Shiny!

What a flippin’ hoot! Adam Lambert would be too gracious to comment, not me! The two shrews of the View, Sherri and especially Elizabeth, who were most critical of him, could barely contain themselves in his presence, cooing and giggling like little school girls!!! LOVED IT!!!

The most interesting thing about Adam Lambert being on The View, was that the ladies of the show all liked Adam and said to take things in perspective, what he did wasn’t all that bad. Joy mentioned daytime soaps were worse. Elizabeth said, it was at 11pm after all etc. The final verdict-they showed adult minds and they really like Adam Lambert. Even Elozabeth said’you’re a nice guy and it’s misleading all the negative stuff about your performance. There actually is intelligent life on ABC.The program w Adam had a lot of witty comments too. Try to see a video.
