Adam Lambert Heading Back To ‘American Idol’

April 6th, 2010 // 4 Comments

EW announced that Adam Lambert will follow in the footsteps of Miley Cyrus and serve as a mentor on the April 13 episode of American Idol. He will also perform on the April 14 results-show.

Do you think he’s ready to mentor? Bringing back one of the popular contestants from the past good be good for what some people think is a lack luster season. Not to mention Lambert has the ability to help guide the contestants in the journey he recently took. This would include lessons in avoiding crazy shirtless female fans, dealing with disappointment, and even dealing with past idol runner-ups.

Here’s Lambert enjoying a night out with friend at Bardot lounch in LA back on February 18.

Firstly, thank you for the wonderful photos. Your shots are some of my favourites.

Now really, how can you put Adam Lambert and Miley Cyrus in the same sentence? Adam is already establishing himself as an international superstar and although he himself would not say he is ‘ready’ to be a mentor, he has had a number of years in the music business and is clearly an amazing artist and all-round great guy. In all the interviews I have seen he has never put anyone down and is always constructive in any criticism he has been asked to make. This in addition to his command of a stage and his passion will make him an excellent mentor. This is my very restrained way of saying ‘Are you kidding? He will be awesome!’ Oh yes and as for dealing with disappointment, I don’t know how he will answer that as he is clearly a winner and will probably be the most successful artist in Idol history.
