Adam Lambert Rocks The NYC Stage With His Original High Tour, Also Hangs Out With Tyler Oakley
Last night the singer took the stage at New York City’s Terminal 5 for what everyone is saying was an absolutely amazing show. (Which like, is anybody surprised?) I really enjoyed this bit from the Huffington Post review, “Full disclosure time: I entered Adam Lambert’s show at Terminal 5 in New York City on Thursday night as a fair-weather fan, appreciating his brand of glam rock from afar, but never fully committing to his post-“American Idol” career…Somehow, I walked out of the venue after the show covered in glitter, wearing a tiger-striped Lambert concert tee and wondering why I’d never gone full Glambert before.”
Atlanta Journal Constitution (which is a site I have never read before). Adam spent most of his The Original High promotional tour talking about how his music has taken a new direction, and he’s talking about that new direction with his concerts, too. Although he doesn’t think he’s “toned it down.”
“It’s just taken a different direction. It’s still me. I’m still the same guy. I have my instincts. They’re never going to change. Some of the references and inspirations have shifted. Six years ago, I was really in love with glam rock from the 1970s with really outrageous outfits. I had sort of a campy delivery.”
You can read the rest of the interview here. I think it’s from today and the interview was conducted awhile ago, but it’s new to me, so maybe some of you missed it as well.
And look at that. Adam got a special visit after his show last night from his fellow Out Magazine Most Eligible Bachelor, Tyler Oakley.
“trying to be serious for a picture with @adamlambert but we were too giggly. go see his tour, it was SO GOOD. vocals, stage presence, theatrics, he is a star. “
Indeed he is! I quite enjoy the friendship these two have got going. And I really like Adam’s leather jacket. But that’s a different story. Well friends, it is time: please launch the gallery and go to town ogling some Adam Lambert photos. I’ve given you guys only the best (and hi-res of course), so please, enjoy.
