We’ve got some tragic news for you on this Sunday. Actor Philip Seymour Hoffman was found dead today in his New York City apartment. He was 46-years-old.
According to reports, Hoffman was found by his assistant Sunday morning, and while no official cause of death has been given, it appears to have been a heroin overdose.
Hoffman, who won an Oscar in 2005 for Capote, is survived by his long-time partner Mimi O’Donnell and their three children. We’ll keep you updated as we learn more. But for now, let’s all be a little sad.
