According To J-Woww, ‘Jersey Shore’ Kids Didn’t Strike
Jenni ‘J-Woww’ Farley tells Steppin’ Out magazine that the rumor about the Jersey Shore kids going on strike for more money from the third season of their show is completely untrue.
“You have to laugh at crazy reports like that. Stories about strikes and things make us all laugh,” J-Woww said. Reports surfaced that Snooki, the Situation and their housemates were stalling production for $30,000 an episode — a 200 percent raise — to tape the third season.
“When the rumor first came out I actually had no idea what it was all about. None of it was true. Nobody ever talked about going on strike. I called Nicole [Snooki] and asked, ‘What is going on?’ Nobody knew anything about a strike. We all just laughed about it,” J-Woww told the magazine.
UsMagazine.com has reported the “entire cast will be returning to Seaside Heights for season 3. There were rumors that some cast wouldn’t return and that was the case at one point, but creators changed their minds.”
I mean, if it’s not evident by now some of those folks know how to make money outside of their MTV show through all kinds of product placement, endorsements, et al. I.e., check out J-Woww at the launch of the Jersey Shore soundtrack in the gallery below!
I want MTV to do a show based on residents of the Louisiana Shore…just for the comparison.
