A $15 Cab Ride, From P. Diddy With Love

December 30th, 2008 // Leave a Comment

Hey, New York. Don’t ever say P. Diddy never did anything for you. Because he’s feeling a little generous and Ciroc vodka-happy this 2009, he wants your first cab ride of the year to be on him. Well, the first $15 of it at least (which will be mostly sitting in gridlock. Happy New Year!).

The New York Daily News reported that Diddy and Ciroc Vodka are teaming up with the city Taxi & Limousine Commission to give away “thousands” of $15 debit cards meant to be used for taxi rides. The handout begins in Times Square at 11 p.m. on Wednesday and carry over until they run out, or 3 a.m., whichever happens first.

This is a nice token of appreciation for all of us who have to stomach through his egomaniacle Ciroc Vodka campaign ads on every corner,  constant musing about being the next 007, and for introducing us to Aubrey O’Day. It’s a nice start. Keep it up, Diddy.
