Oooh Your Royal Highness.  You are a gal after my own heart.

Cheryl Cole wrote about the Duchess of Cambridge in her new book, Cheryl: My Story, revealing perhaps the only details we’ll ever learn about her hen do.

Cole recalled an interaction she had with the Duke of Cambridge at the Queen’s Diamond Jubilee concert back in early June.  While chatting, William told Cole that his wife paid tribute to the Girls Aloud member and solo artist at her own bachelorette party.

“Kate confessed that she dressed up as me on her hen night, in a bodysuit and split trousers, and sang ‘Fight For This Love,’” Cole wrote (via British Vogue).  ”She even learnt the dance routine and was step-perfect by all accounts, as her sister Pippa and brother James also came over and told me all about it.”

I used to do the same thing with Britney Spears circa 2000 (minus the body suit.  I just didn’t have the figure for it).

Cole knows the royal family through her work with The Prince’s Trust and her own Cheryl Cole Foundation.  At the concert after-party, Cole and Prince Harry had a fine chat.   ”I love Prince Harry,” Cole said at the time, according to the Daily Mail.  ”Actually, I had a dream last night I married Prince Harry and was a real-life princess. It’s true. And Charles was my father-in-law”

Great song choice, BTW.
