It was confirmed by H&M representatives via Twitter shortly before 4pm that Beckham would be on site to launch his debut range of ‘bodywear’ ahead of a global and online release tomorrow, February 2.
Perhaps to the disappointment of the L.A Galaxy star’s legion of female fans, the 36-year-old did not arrive wearing just a pair of briefs – but covered up in a casual combination of stonewash jeans and chunky, cream cardigan. The H&M flagship store’s windows did however feature life-size silver Beckham mannequins in silver, clad in boxer shorts.
“I always want to challenge myself and this was such a rewarding experience for me. I’m very happy with the end result and I hope H&M’s male customers will be as excited as I am” Beckham has said of the partnership with H&M.
