Here’s a task: Google “celebs who have been to rehab.” Trust us, you’ll be surprised who you find. Teen starlets, rap moguls, you name it, they’ve probably checked in to Promises or another Malibu getaway to get over their drug addictions or take time off for exhaustion from their jobs. It’s no surprise that so many celebrities, especially younger ones, have succumbed to the pressures of the easy-access to drugs. Just look at how the media portrays drug use and abuse: the film Project X is one glorified house party and the cast of the Jersey Shore is sober about 2 weeks a year.
Surprisingly, none of the Italian Gudios and Guidettes have checked into their own facility until now. Mike “The Situation” Sorrentino admitted to beginning his treatment for prescription drug use due to exhaustion this week most likely from all the Ron-Ron juice and grenades he’s been involved with at The Shore. It’s still uncertain how the next season of the show will turn out, which begins filming soon, without the ringleader of mischief on board for the craziness at Karma. But don’t worry, The Sitch isn’t the first person to have his career derailed or potentially saved from rehab.
