30 Moving And Powerful Images From Newton, Connecticut [PHOTOS]

The names of the 26 victims gunned down at Sandy Hook Elementary School in Newtown, Conn. Friday (December 14, 2012) were released Saturday afternoon. This town experienced an unfathomable tragedy, and it feels to all of us as if the tragedy occurred next door. Grief knows no boundaries.

Eighteen females and seven males were killed in the attack. Sixteen of the children were 6 years old, while four were 7. I cannot wrap my head around any of this. I cannot imagine what the children who survived, the families who are grieving and the the first responders are going through. No one should have to go what they’ve gone and are going through.
