2010 was pretty righteous for Bruno Mars. He’s a songwriter with a string of hits; some his, some he just wrote. And on top of being nominated for seven Grammys, Mars is also performing at the awards show February 13th. Mars and his producing partners go by the name “The Smeezingtons,” and are responsible for Record Of The Year nominees “Nothin’ On You” by B.o.B and “F___ You” by Cee-Lo Green.
Despite his enormous success, Mars is smart enough to know that the hits won’t keep on coming. Mars said on USA Today‘s site,”I just try to remember the feeling you get when you finish a Nothin’ On You. It also helps to remember how it feels to hear a crappy song you wrote and not get sucked into the idea that everything I write is great.”
Mars celebrated his debut album “Doo-Wops & Hooligans” yesterday at Cafe de Paris in London.
