2011 Golden Globes: The Ladies

January 17th, 2011 // 2 Comments

Most of the women looked amazing yesterday strutting down the red carpet at the 2011 Golden Globe Awards and evergreen seemed to be a prevalent color. Also back were the Dynasty style dresses, which I think both Angelina Jolie (Versace) and Anne Hathaway (Armani) could be seen in.

Olivia Wilde was breathtaking in her Marchesa gown and Dianna Agron looked great as well in her J. Mendel dress. And Tilda Swinton, no matter what she wears, carries it so damn well.

Some frocks were not terribly inspiring, such as Natalie Portman‘s overwhelming rose and Scarlett Johansson‘s vampire bride look. Helena Bonham Carter was trying to look like the human version of Ursula from The Little Mermaid – and was successful.

Who do you think looked amazing or whose outfits did you love? Check out all the ladies in the gallery! All of our coverage from the 2011 Golden Globes here!

Angelina’s dress looks like it would be worn by a 50+ yr old mother of the bride. Stop trying to convince us of your maturity, seriousness and toned down no longer wild ways. We got it already. Now dress your age in something I can envy.

The dress looks like it came form an 80′s prom, and all of her reaction shots during the show were overly exaggerated and dramatic. Nobody likes a diva.
